    Gateway 6860 web cam problem

    i just recently got this problem with webcam. everytime i try to open up camera assistant software it says "lock by another application." the thing is i don't have any other application that uses webcam other then trillian and i haven't use the webcam function yet on that. any solution or tips?

    but did you close trillian?

    i was having problems with it get dark and black and grey, so i just d/l it from gateway and reinstalled it and it is fine.
