    Hi,

I'm planning on getting the 6860 FX. Is the Gateway limited 1 year warranty (that comes with the laptop) enough or should I get some Best Buy Store warranty? Or any other warranties from Gateway etc that I should know about?

One thing you should know about me is that I'm not carrying the laptop around and it is staying in one place at my table (so it's always at my home). Fairly peaceful there in that location.

From what you are saying, I would just stay with the 1 year, but it is up you, Best Buy's warranty is a good deal if your accident prone.
