I have a 7422gx and would like to know what is the largest HDD this laptop will recognize. I am currently looking at a 100 Gig 7200rpm drive. I would like to go bigger even if I have to goto 5400rpm.

    Thanks

It depends on how much the ATA interface can handle (don't remember now)....I don't see it having problems below 200GB though....and that is kind of the biggest laptop HDD you can get at a reasonable price. A BIOS update would be highly recommended also.
