    Gateway 7426GX CF Reader

    Anyone else having trouble with the CF Reader in the Gateway 7426GX?

    I had the emachines 6805, which is very similar, but had no issues and used the slot many, many times with the card I use in my Canon. It recognizes the device, and SD cards work fine, but when trying to read a CF card, 2 drives show in explorer, but can't access the drive contents using either one. Came with Home SP2, upgraded to Pro SP2 and upgraded 4 in 1 drivers. All else unchanged from factory. Issue has been there since purchase. Thanks...
