    I just bought a Gateway 7805u with the WUXGA display, and I previously encountered a thread on this website on the recommended set-up for the setup of this Gateway laptop. I've been searching for that thread and can't find it.

    The poster went through step-by-step on their recommendations (and threw in a clause saying these were their own personal recommendations, so take it for what it's worth).

    Could someone please post a link to that thread?

    Thanks for the response and that one is helpful, but it's not the one I was thinking of.

    I thought it was while I was looking at a Gateway specific threat, but I guess I could be wrong.
