Hey, I saw a nice one priced today. I was wondering what the consensus is about these laptops... can't find too much information out there. It's a 11.6" SU3500 with 2gb and 6-cell battery.

How is build quality and keyboard quality? I know its no thinkpad (my current top choice is a x201), but at this price it could win me over.

And how is the screen? Is it glossy or matte?

    I just saw this video:

    Is it that bad?

It is the same thing as an Acer 1410 just rebranded.

I have an EC1803h and it's pretty great. It's more powerful than an Atom-based netbook, but it's not as powerful as a real laptop (i.e. Core 2 Duo or Core i5, etc.).

See this thread for a lot of discussion on it. It's not perfect (especially if you get unlucky with a bad refurb model), but most ppl were happy with theirs. It's mostly a matter of putting fresh Win 7 w/o junk instead of the bloated Vista with too much crap on it. Personally I'm using XP, but 7 should be just as speedy.

Edit: How nice was the price you saw?
