    Hi!

When I purchased my EC1803h the specs said 8gigs max memory, now on Kingston's site max memory capacity is gigs, has anyone had chance upping the memory to 8gigs?

My CPU is always @ %100 even with my new SSD thus was hoping to speed things up a bit,

    Thanks,

ARK does not specify the memory potential. I see a lot of systems out there limited to 4GB max expansion but they too only have a 32 bit OS. So this is more of the OS limiting the machine not the CPU. If you look there are allot of 64 bit machines out there with the SU7300 and 8GB. Of course this is no guaranty Gateway did not limit the bios in some way.

You will need to move to a 64 bit OS though to take advantage of more than 4GB.
