    Gateway FX 7805U Bios Download

    When I run CPUZ it tells me my Bios is 9C.12.00. Is there a newer bios out there. I ran one that say 9C.17.00 but it loaded the .12 version. Help would be great and maybe the file for windows to update my bios. Im looking for maybe some overclocking ability or the bios to support the quad core processor. Help.

    I'm looking too. Whats weird is the new p-7808 from Gateway supports Quad Core but I contacted Gateway and they are clueless about how to get the 7805 to work with Quad Core. It's got to be out there and one day maybe we'll find it.

    its werid because it said it was .17 when i was flashing the bios but went to .12

    I must've missed something. As far as I know nobody's yet been able to acquire 9c.05.17 for downloading and flashing. Where did you obtain the BIOS for 9c.05.17?
