Will the Gateway FX 7805U Support a X9000 processor? I know it works with the T9300 but will it work with a extreme processor?

Simply put the FSB is wrong. The x9000 is 800Mhz, you want the x9100 which is at 1066Mhz...........

The x9000 will work but as TANWare states the FSB is 1066 and with the x9000 you wouldn't be utilizing what you paid for to its fullest extent.
