    Can anyone point me to some good new ram for my 6860 FX Laptop. I think one of my Dimms is damaged so i need to get a new one.

    But i want to replace both dimms so any1 know some good ram i can replace it with. Preferable the BEST or just really good RAM for gaming.

    just standard ram will be ok , it can only handle 4gbs of ddr2 667mhz anyways, i have some corsair stuff, runs nice

    Technically the 6860 "can" run 8GB of CL4 DDR2 800mHz RAM which would downclock to somewhere around a 4-4-3-9 at 667mHz, but that would largely be a waste of money. :p

    Just get any 4GB kit that comes from someone with a good warrenty. RAM isnt really ever going to make a big difference to your system.

    My 4-4-4-12 ram might give my system 0.1% more power than the standard 5-5-5-15 ram :rolleyes: Waste of 109 dollar is what it was
