    Hi guys,

I have a Gateway P7915 FX (the GTX 260m one in case u need more info) on which the display driver crashes (sometimes even when watching a video on youtube, not to mention games) only when using it plugged in.

It works perfectly fine on the battery power.

After all the software solutions which are obviously not going to fix this, I have read about the Targus 180w, are you suggesting I should get a 180w Ac Adapter in order to solve this problem?

What I obviously suspect is that it's getting power spikes of some sort and basicaly not getting enough power on ac, as it seems to be working fine on the battery DC.

So Targus 180w (or any other 180w adapter) ?

If you suspect power issues then yes the Targus 180w can fix that. The reason I say can rather than will is that there is a slim possibility that the CAPs in the laptop are of issue. It is even possible an originally bad brick can cause damage to the laptops circuitry................

Ok, thanks for the reply, I cant find a Targus to buy some I'm just going to get another 180w compatible ac adapter. I'm hoping that should fix it.
