Post your 3DMark Vantage results here for your Gateway FX notebook!
Please be sure you put the following things on the screenshot:
    -CPU type
-VGA name+VGA clocks (if you OC)+driver version
-run 3DMark in Performance settings! (it means 1280x1024 resolution so you need an external monitor)

Here is my result without any OC and with the default T5450 CPU:

I hope to see more results, expesially with larger CPU :)

Ugh, Vantage, its driving me nuts, keeps crapping out on me after the physics test and talking about buffers...any suggestions?

...that said, what drivers are you guys having success with for
    1: 3dMark 06,
    2: 3d Mark Vantage,
    3: COD 4
    4: Team Fort. 2

    Thanks for your help, crabby

yeah, don't over clock anything and check your drivers to make sure you have a decent version...mine we're crapping out as well. i had to go back to 169.09 drivers and they seemed to work fine. then i could over clock, but allot of the other drivers i tried...we're having allot of problems. hopefully this will be fixed soon....

    Hi,
My score isnt so badass; in fact it seems rather low.

I can run the 1280x1024 rez on my p6831fx as I have upgraded the screen to 1680x1050.

    My specs:
    CPU: T7300 @2GHz.
Forceware version 167.45 (<-- could it be this?)
    Vista Home Premium (clean install)

    The rest is standard:
    250gb, 3gb, no overclocks.

I had the same issues when I upgraded to 9300
I think its the software to benchmark, it doesn't work the the 6860 screen setting, its having issues with Vista 64 (maybe??), direct 10
I am having no issues with games (Crysis high/very high, very fast, )

I must have a strange laptop. I cant say that the 175.63 work well for me.

    Procedure:
    - uninstalled nvidia driver via add/remove programs
    - uninstalled hardware via device manager
    - ran driver sweeper
    - installed 175.63 (did the , to _ fix for the inf file)

    Pros:
    - 3dmark Vantage score went up a few points: from 2475 to 2515

    Cons:
    - 3dm06 score dropped from ~7400 to ~7k
    - Windows feels slower: thumbnails take more time to display, resizing windows are bit more 'floaty' (like a clean install with no appropriate video drivers, but not so extreem)

    Result:
    - So, Im back on the 167.45. Feels more sturdy to me.
    But thanks for the suggestion.

Which Driver are you using? I see that you are using 32 bit Vista and directx 9... do you have suggestions for 64Bit Vista and dirx10?

I am using the supplied nVidia driver-
