    Gateway HDD replace with Hybrid??

    I have a Gateway laptop NV53 and would like to put a Seagate Momentus Hybrid drive in it to improve performance. Are they compatible??

    Yeah, just make sure you get Sata II compatible. I believe you are talking about the "Momentus XT". Make sure you you pick up the right one because they make one thats just called "Momentus" and I went in the store thinking "Momentus XT" and but bought the Momentus by mistake. Had to turn around and take it back. :eek: :rolleyes: DOH!

    'momentus' has been seagates primary line of hard drives for desktops and probably for decades...

    So yes, they make one that is just called momentus...
