    Gateway ID59C Question

    Two weeks ago i bought my first laptop and its great but, i have two problems. One is that everytime i plug my charger in my laptop beeps, is that normal or not? My second question is I alway keep my laptop charged but today i noticed that on the battery symbol it says 96% available (plugged in, not charging) i understand the first part about the 96% but the second part i dont understand. Should i be worried or is this normal. I have tried taking my battery out and then putting it back in but that doesnt work. If anyone has an answer that would be great.

    yes, that is normal that the laptop beeps when the charger is plugged in

    also in regards to the battery only reporting 96%, my id58 reports only 98%

    nothing to worry about unless youve noticed significant deterioration in the running time of your battery under normal usage
