    Gateway Laptop Device manager blank/ Ipod problems

    My device manager is blank and I cant download any drivers. My ipod classic doesnt connect properly neither does a few other things like external hard drives and usb sticks. but my iphone connects no problem. I tried a few ways i found online but nothing seems to work. any help would be great.

    We would need some more information. What model laptop and OS version? Also some background, is this a new system, was it all working well before, When did it first start happening, etc.?
