    Gateway Laptop MX6441 hinge cracked

    Has anyone else had any problems with their gateway laptop where the hinge cracks?
    Will gateway fix this if i send it back in?
    The laptop is close to a year old and i have never dropped it or anything. :confused:

    gateway/emachines are notorious for cracked hinges - not exclusively, other brands have them too, but not as often and well.known -

    give them a call, it might be replaced free of charge
