    Gateway Laptop won't recognize hard drive ?

    I have a 15.4" gateway laptop, fairly new, running Vista.

    I booted it up, it wouldn't load anything so I went into the BIOS, and I can't find any hard drives under main SATA in the home screen in the bios.

    I can't load anything, anyone have any ideas how to get this thing up and running ?
