I have a westell 327w router and Verizon DSL. I just got my new netbook last night. It has Windows 7 starter on it. I've used it at college where it worked fine. Also used it at both my dad's house and a friend's house (both have linksys routers) and it also worked fine.
But whenever I try to connect at home, it finds the wireless internet but doesn't want to connect. I've tried resetting the router, power cycling (both laptop and router), and messed with various settings in the router. Nothing seems to help. Any idea as to what the problem might be? It's not that the router's wireless doesn't work either. I've had other laptops all connect fine.
Also, when I troubleshoot with windows 7, it tells me to investigate router or access point issues. It just tell me to restart the router.

Try resetting your wireless network adapter. Cycling it on and off really can help sometimes. Or you could troubleshoot by turning mac filtering on in your router, and manually entering your mac address to see if it connects
