    Okay, so I own a M-152XL, which is part of gateway's current M series, thus sharing the same chassis with laptops such as the M-6862, M-6864FX, etc. etc.

    Since BestBuy has had multiple Gateway 15 inchers on sale lately, I assume more and more people will be getting them. So, more people will want to know whats the best cooler for this type of notebook. So since I have tried out many notebook coolers to see which ones have been the most effective, I thought I should share. I can tell you now, if you already have a notebook cooler that does anywhere from 2-4/5C cooling, that is the best you will get, so be happy with it.

    In this thread, I am going to rank the three notebook coolers that I have found to the be the most effective (in terms of cooling) in various different categories. The point of this thread is not to provide a full review on either of the coolers but rather to be a quick reference point for someone who cannot decide which of these to purchase:

    Notepal Infinite
    Zalman NC2000
    Belkin Laptop Cooling Stand

    Just to let people know, I have owned and tried out all of these three coolers.

    The following are full reviews on the coolers that are specific to a Gateway M Series Chassis:
    Notepal Infinite (I will write a review on this soon as I stop being lazy :D)
    Zalman NC2000
    Belkin Laptop Cooling Stand
    *Note all of these coolers were reviewed at a room temperature of ~26C

    Build (Best -> Worst Build)
    Zalman
    Notepal
    Belkin

    Weight (Lightest -> Heaviest)
    Belkin
    Notepal
    Zalman

    Noise (Most silent -> Loudest)
    Zalman
    Notepal
    Belkin

    Cooling (Best cooling -> Worst Cooling
    This is a tie between all three coolers. All of them do ~2-4/5C

    Price (Cheapest -> Most Expensive)
    Belkin
    Notepal
    Zalman

    Performance:price Ratio (Highest -> Lowest Ratio)
    Belkin
    Notepal
    Zalman

    Recommendations
    If you are short on cash: Go with the Belkin
    If you will use your laptop on places other then a desk: Go with the Notepal
    If you are concerned about build quality, or noise: Go with the Zalman
    If you want the best 'bang for the buck' in terms of performance/price: Go with the Belkin
    If you want a cooler that has good build quality and effectiveness for a fair price: Go with the Notepal

    Thanks for the review! Good info to know they're all about the same performance-wise. I'm running a new M-6862.

    You must have a special one...it never did that for me.

    Are you testing the same load everytime?

    I did tests at same room temps, doing the same load everytime. I did multiple tests.

    And I dont recall my GPU ever hitting low 80s, even during benchmarking. With or without cooler.
