I saw this laptop with 3Gb Ram, Turion X2 2.0, 250 GB HDD, Webcam, and ATI Radeon X1270 graphics. They look like good specs the laptop if $600 with a 100 MIR. But i haven't not seen one review on it so my question are.

    1. How is the build quality of Gateway?
    2. When was this laptop released?
    3. How good if the ATI Radeon X1270 for games like WOW?

I don't think the radeon X1270 can handle WOW. you should go check it on here it tells you what card you need to play games and doing comparison. and I really can't tell you anything more about Gateway since I haven't had much experience with them.

I had the T-1616 which had x1270 graphics. It's a decent integrated solution. I used to have a laptop w/ ATI x1150 graphics and it could run World of Warcraft just fine (if a bit sluggish in populated cities). Since the x1270 is better then the x1150, then I'd imagine that your laptop could run WoW just as good of not slightly better.

Won't be maxing out details but perfectly playable under the right settings. No fears :)

I actually bought this laptop and i am quite pleased with it. I know that it's not really designed to play games but i have been able to play Half-Life2 episode 1 and 2 at high settings at around 25 to 30 fps. I also have tried Company of Heroes opposing fronts at medium settings at around 20 to 24 fps. Just be sure to turn of Aero and your Vista sidebar because they actually eat up alot of resources. But to be honest for the price and the limited budget I was on I had to snatch it up. As far as the PC goes. The build quality feels pretty solid. The only real issue I have found with it is the hinge that connects the screen to the keyboard feels a little flimsy. I play most of my games on my xbox360 so I bought this for multimedia and for school. But light gaming on it is not to bad. Don't expect to play any new releases but if the x200m I had in my old laptop could play F.E.A.R. on the lowest of settings. I would say you would be able to play most games released 2 to 3 years ago on at least low settings. I have played CC3 on it at medium settings at about 24 fps and that's the newest game I have played for it. Just another note it has HDMI output at 1080i. I have not had a chance to test this since I am currently deployed but it is also a little bonus feature.
