    i have already upgraded the ram to 4gb and the processor to a t9300 now i want to upgrade the dvd drive to a blue-ray does anybody know how hard it is or how to do it? i know i need a slim drive but is it possible?

    theres one screw holding it in on the bottom, there is a plastic cover u need to lift up and there is the screw. you also need to take the cover off the drive you you can put it on the new one.

    yes it is more then possible....check the gateway forum for some of the guides or a thread on swapping drives and where to buy them.
