I am new to you forum and will greatly appreciate some assistance in resolving my computer issue.

I have been attempting to use a Gateway M405 (specs below) to watch t.v. shows from the internet. I come up against the common issue of the picture pausing, more downloading, and then the show continues. Or, the picture can't keep up with the voice. It seems the commercials preceding the shows don't display these problems.
ISP is Comcast. Hard wired into my network.

I ran a test using PerformanceTest 7.0 Evaluation Version ( PassMark Software - PC Benchmark and Test Software) and download speed tests

Can anyone advise me on changing settings or upgrading a component if necessary to use this laptop for internet t.v watching.

    Thanks,
    dmend

The first issue sounds like your internet connection is struggling, and the second sounds like your CPU is struggling.
