    Hey guys,

Just bought a laptop second hand. It was working fine when I received it but it had a pirate copy of Windows on it so I reinstalled with the supplied OS disc (Vista Basic 32 bit).

I've managed to setup everything I wanted to except the wireless network...

On the previous OS installation it was picking up the local networks as you would expect it to. But since I reformatted, it won't find anything...

I've tried various drivers. The device is recognised by Vista but doesn't find networks. The associated wireless setup tool doesn't even assign it a MAC or IP address.

Been spending hours trying to get it sorted but have run out of ideas.

    Please help if you can!
