Just found this forum and hope someone can help. I been trying to get rid of some spyware from a Gateway ML3108b notepad. I installed spyware doctor from the Google pack and after the reboot the keyboard and mouse pad no longer work. I can get a usb mouse to work on it but can't enter a password to get onto the desktop as the keyboards not working and I haven't got a usb keyboard to try. Can anyone give some suggestions?

p.s. It has Vista home basic installed on it.

    thanks in advance.
    Phil

you can scrub this now. The power of posting made me somehow stumble on a startup repair program that seems to have done the trick.
