    Hey guys

Ive just been given this laptop from a friend who wants it reformattng and installing XP.

Ive installed XP fine leaving the Vista recovery partition intact.

The problem is ,there are no XP drivers ,as to what i can tell available for this system.

Is it possible to install the vista drivers at all on the XP machine?

The other problem ive got is that i beleive its only possible to restore the machine from the recovery partition within vista itself which ive now wiped and installed xp.

Ive got no cds at all with the machine ...Ive tried f8 /f11 but none of them work.

As anyone any ideas how to get this machine backup and running .....either in vista or XP.

She wanted XP installing on it but if no drivers are available id rather try and get it back to factory state.

    Any ideas guys?

    Thanks
