    Gateway MT3707 is ram dual channel ?

    Ran a test on mine. Results only single channel activated . Can anyone
    verify ? We may have gotten a better processor but ram is running single channel.

    mine says its supported but not used......only being used as single channel...nothing in Bios to change either

    Yep that's the same result I got. I just added a gig of ram. Two 1g and results
    are the same . Processor runs faster now ( not that it didn't before I added more ram ). From what I have read dual vs single isn't a big difference. I'm happy with the MT3707. So far it does what I need it to do . I do wonder why they changed the specs ? And if there's a way we can set it to run in dual channel mode.

    I believes its done by the ATI drivers but I may be wrong

    Do you mean the ATI video drivers might have something to do with why it's
    only single channel activated ?
