    Hi,

I am working on a Gateway MT 6451 laptop running Windows Vista 32. Device manager does not list a modem or sound controller. Needless to say neither device works. The driver setup for both devices fails with a message that the device is not present.

Have these devices failed, or is there some magic formula to get these devices back?

    Bill
