My friend and I reinstalled windows on his Gateway MX6124 Laptop.

Everything is fine, however, this specific driver makes the notebook enter a icon-less desktop with an error message and no start menu, and no ALT-CTRL-DEL functionality. The error message is related to how the user account can't be accessed or something. During installation, we receive five pop-ups to install a plug-in-play monitor.

What should I do? Without a working driver, we can't use the laptop's native resolution.

the driver in question would neither be the cause of ur "iconless" desktop nor the not-present CTRL-ALT-DEL functionality. review ur installation and make sure the group policy is correctly set

    cheers ...
