    Gateway MX6421 not working

    I was trying to restore my laptop back to the factory settings and now in the BIOS it's saying HDD frozen. When you hit f10 to BOOT is reads NO OPERATING SYSTEM FOUND. When trying to reinstall windows xp with a disc it reads no hard drive found........HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!!!!! Anyone have a answer to this?

    you have a defective hard drive. You need to replace the hard drive, insert the recovery disk and you'll be set to go again. If you have no idea what I am talking about, I suggest taking your computer to a repair shop.
