    Gateway MX6425

    Does anyone have one of these or have any experience with one? I'm pretty close to getting this thing, but I can't seem to find much info on it. Must be a Circuit City exclusive, I guess. Anyways, it'll be my first laptop, and I want it to be a good one that'll last me a while. What do you guys think??

    You should consider the FAQ in the "What Should I Buy?" forum and post there. Without having any idea what you plan to do with it or your budget, it is hard to help.

    I already have a thread over there asking for other suggestions (full FAQ is there). I'm really just trying to find out more info on this particular laptop. Nobody seems to know anything about them.

    I own a 6424 which is almost the same. It's a great computer. Keyboard is excellent, very quiet, fast, battery life about 2.5hrs. I'm pretty sure you can upgrade the processor as well. Graphics aren't great though, 3DMark05 score of just under 500 if I remember correctly.
