I have a gateway MX6439 laptop, it's been mainly used for internet use, minor use with Openoffice for various docs, and occasional video, muisc playback.

More recently I've become interested in upgrading it to handle tasks with greater ease.

I upgraded the RAM from 512mb to 2GB, going from 384mb available to 1.75gb. Also I've done a complete system wipe and reinstalled windows and all applicable updates. Now that it's faster and can handle more multitasking than I used to be able to throw at it, I'd like to upgrade some other components to make it a faster machine.

Any suggestions as far as a new internal Wireless Card that is 802.11N capable?

Intel 5300 is really amazing IMO and quite cheap too.

Thank you for the suggestion, I'm relatively new to upgrades and such... is a wifi card something relatively standard that will interchange easily. All I'll need to do is install the proper drivers, right?
