    Gateway MX6920 no sound pls help??

    Hi,

    I just reinstalled my MX6920 with WinXP Pro and I can't get the sound to work. I downloaded the driver from the Gateway site but doesn't work. When I finish installing it and it restarts it says something about "not supported device"

    Can anyone help me please?

    Im am in a chat with a gateway tech for the same issue. She is installing an Intel sigmatel 92XX audio driver right now. Ill let you know if that fixes it.

    Thanks, because it looks like gateway didnt do much. Were you able to fix your troubles with the trial version or did you have to purchase the full?

    Full version, the trial doesn't look for drivers and install them like the full version.
