Hi i just got a MX7515 Laptop and someone spilled something on the keyboard when i wasnt home, i was just wondering how much this will cost me to fix since im pretty sure its not covered by the warrenty. The keyboard is unresponsive but everything else seems to be ok, It Boots up and the screen comes on but after it loads bearshare its freezes, So im wondering if the processor is damaged or if the motherboard is fried, and if so how much would it cost to replace it or would it be better just to buy a whole new laptop, but i dont really have the money for a new one seeing as i still owe like 1800 on this one. So anything that could help me would be appreciated.

I would try replacing the keyboard first, I can't imagine it would cost more than 35 bucks. If it doesnt work after replacing the keyboard, say something else happened to the laptop that would be covered under warranty ;)

They are probablky going to easily be able to tell that something was spilled.

Try and find a usb keyboard and use that for a while to see if your computer is still going to work. The keyboard replacement will probably be a little more expensive than $35. Try closer to $135.
