Hey everybody Im sure a few people read my previous write up in regards to my mx7515 after owning it a month. Now as of last week I installed Win X64 withg all the drivers and re installed all my software.

For those wondering heres my software list for work:

    Adobe Creative Suite 2 Professional
    Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5
    Adobe Encore
    Adobe Incopy

Basically all known NEW adobe applications and all work without any issues as of yet under 32-bit or 64-bit. Had a ***** of a time installed creatice suite but the fix is right on adobes website.

    Autodesk: AutoCAD 2006, Mechanical 2006, Architectual 2006, and 3D Max 8

No issues to date under either OS

    Mathematic 5.1
    Visual Studio 2005 Beta RC1
    Microsoft Office system Professional

    No software issues

Also watch divx's (Divx and Nero 7 installed). No issues get sound and every movie ive tried works

GAMES i know a lot of people love hearing this:

Civilization IV, Quake 4, FarCRY, Unreal, Knights of Honor, Generals, and yada anyways no real issues a couple games wont run but I dont like them anyways.

DRIVES: All drivers are installed and all hardware is working perfectly. No blue screens etc. MY AUDIO UPDATE audio works perfect I dont need to stand by to get audio how? Honestly know! I manually installed the new 5.11 SB Driver then did the ecs driver for integrated ati audio and it just works.

no issues just the x64 windows lagging. Dunno why but even on my new Dual Core dell system i get OS lagging

You are the first person to get the 64 bit sound driver working. Could you please post a link to it?

I've had my 7515 for 11 days and had the usb 2.0 problem. After two phone calls to Gateway, they determined that the usb ports were not getting enough voltage. They said to send it back in for a motherboard replacement. I called Bestbuy and I am returning it tomorrow for another one. So if anyone else is having this problem, it is a hardware defect and not a driver issue.
