Is there a light indicator on your laptop for wireless and is it on? It should be with the HDD indicator and caps lock etc lights, usually around the touchpad. It looks like an antenna with parentheses. Perhaps you simply flicked the wireless switch or turned it off with the keyboard? If it is on check the Device Manager and see if the driver says it is working properly. If not check the wireless switch on your laptop and/or try Fn+the wireless symbol on the keyboard?
