    Gateway NV52 Display Issues

    I bought a NV5215u Gateway computer, when i started using it the display went blank i restarted and the issue keep happening. I've seen is a common issue for the NV52 computers. Any advice on how to fix it?

    Your display connector might be loose, have you tried reseating it?

    Just unplug it and plug it back in making sure it gets good contact. Theres been a rash of Gateways that needed to have the panels cable plugged in better.
    (maybe the same assembly line worker just really hates to do their job or something :eek: )

    People posted having this issue on reviews for this laptop on BestBuy.com. Supposedly there was a bad batch (integrated graphics card was failing) on this laptop circulating and the issues were fixed with a newer batch. If you are still within your 30-day return, I would get another one or contact Gateway about this as its a known issue. I currently have the same laptop and do not have this issue. Just bought it from Best Buy a day ago.
