I have had my laptop for about 20 mos. and need to replace the screen which is fading on the left side. Trying to take out the battery and there are no clips or slides to do so. There is an orange slot next to the battery and I thought it was a release and all I had to do was click it open well that didn't work. Long story short I ordered the wrong screen so I wasn't able to install it.

But now I am slowly loosing battery power and the battery won't recharge. I still need to install the right screen and need to take out the battery or do I need to replace the battery now along with the screen. Is there any way to get it to recharge to 100% again it's now at 74%. Main issue is how to take the battery out safely, then get it to recharge again.:hi2:
