    Gateway NV53 Overheating HDD problem

    I just got a gateway NV53 from a friend for free so i was gonna fix it then give it to someone else the thing is it overheats on top the area where the Hard drive is the fan works ive taken it apart and reapplyed the thermal paste i got from best buy i know its not the best thermal compound but still this much heat from it, it gets around 85c and not around the area where the cpu/gpu is i can evenm feel it through the keyboard and ive take it apart and blown all the dust out of the fan and everything could it be the Hard drive everything else works fine (ive also reinstalled windows 7 on it) can you guys give me any help or do i jsut need to get a new HDD
