I am working on a friends NV55C and accessing the bios is giving me fits.

System restore and Safemode boot attempts are failing therefore I have decided to reformat. The problem is I cannot find the bios option to change the boot sequence.

When I hit F8 at the splash screen I get all the safemode, debug, etc options but no option to change the sequence.

Is it possible a rootkit is blocking this?

    Thanks.
