So I guess my laptop has some pretty dam high temps for example while not charging on high performance it gets into the 80s why is it doing this? I keep it clean air spray ever two weeks? maybe its the area I'm playing it in?

Plus I used to be able to play on high performance with out lock ups while charging but not anymore why? should I upgrade from the stock cpu or something? All help would be great.

Have you tried raising the laptop or a cooler? What is the ambient temp in the room?

Im going to try elevating it and dust clean it tomorrow.. Plus the room temp is unknown actually.. I usually open the window to let air flow through out the room... but the room temp is the average temp of any room.

Ill post the hardware monitor tests tomorrow.

Get a T9300 which seems to be most optimal for price/performance/cooling.... Ive had one for almost a year now and its a great investment........You can check other sites though even Ebay to get a much better deal....

Her are the new temps after a dust cleaning and playing on it while elevated from the back mid by a small book.

And Ill add the game I play was stated by the devs it is very cpu demanding than anything else I guess so the temps you are seeing might be normal I guess.

This is on high performance also.

..Sorry for all these questions but I want to be sure on all of this.. Where is the GPU located on the FX laptops? near the vents or is next to the heat sink so I have to remove the keyboard or something?

To get to the GPU you have to disassemble the entire laptop. Its one of the few componets that arent accessable by the end user easily.

Ok thx about the gpu question

Temps seem very nice now, but I might buy a cooling system so I dont have a book elevating it all the time.
