    Would like to know if the t9300 upgrade is possible or/and the X9000 upgrade.
    Just a quick question because a P-6831 is harder to find nowadays.

    (no idea why a new thread was made, lol)

    Yes - the P172 line and P-68XX lines can easily be upgraded with any Socket P CPU. Have fun. :)

    Atm, is there a guide somewhere....I don't have any laptop-experience..lol but have a lot of PC experience :p. just would like a guide as my lappy does not have a warranty.

    There is a video somewhere on this site that shows how to do it
    Be careful not to bend the pins-I didn't know that they bend so easily. I did bend a few of them trying to shove the 9300 into the socket.
