How do you make it so that the wireless doesn't turn off every time you reboot the laptop?

Whenever I reboot the laptop, the orange wireless light turns off and I have to press Fn + F2 to turn it back on.

Is the switch at the right of the laptop switched to "on"? Bottom right of the notebook has a Wireless : On/Off switch.

Yes that switch is set to the On position.

When I reboot the laptop, the orange wireless light below the left-click on the trackpad disappears. I have to press Fn + F2 to turn it back on after every reboot.

    Is this normal?

no, its not, maybe try to uninstall your wireless driver, reboot, and reinstall from your restore disk or gateway.com/support
