Gateway P-6831FX Crysis benchmarks

Let’s see your Crysis bench marks! Please use the built in GPU benchmark, not FRAPS. I can see the low, average and high FPS.

The benchmark will terminate after 4 runs and create a text file under C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Levels\island.

I run all at medium settings with anti-aliasing off. The first readings are scaled at 1280x800, which I run, and the second run is at 1440x900, your native Rez. NVIDIA places a black border around scaled screen, nice!

We have a bit in common as my 2 year old dell cost $1380 at the door. Needless to say I run DX9, no Vista for me. This game spanks my 7900gs bad and I’m running ancient Yonah T-2400.

Your benchmarks will make the decision to jump on the new Gateway or not.

I played the demo at 1440x900 with half of the settings set to high and the rest on medium and it was extremely playable on this laptop with only minor stuttering around loading areas. I don't know if I can do a timedemo with the demo though.

No tweaking/overclocking for the results. I have a T9300 in this one so there is an increase in performance but I also run Vista which is a decrease. Upgraded memory and raid 0 but neither of those will effect the benchmark. Hope the info helps.
