    Gateway P-6860FX grey/blue screen problem

    Hi guys,

    So the problem is my screen would turn either a blank grey or blue right before the loadup screen right before my desktop icons load up. This happens everytime. I thought it was just the display driver messing up, but I tried at least 10 of the latest ones, even the official ones from the nvidia website. So I uninstalled them in safe mode and this of course fixes the problem but without the display drivers, the laptop is pretty much useless. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, but I'm thinking my videocard has become defective? has anyone experienced this before?
