I'm providing the links of the latest drivers just incase if you haven't installed those drivers. But b4 using those make sure you uninstall the old ones for those devices from the device manager. Hope by the next restart everything will work fine. Well for the camera i'm not sure if the s/w is available in the driver link i gave you (try checking out with some IM like yahoo).

tnx for the help i manged to install and activate the camera after removing its driver and install it again. the touchpad works now too
still no good on the wireless connection and the audio driver
i could not install the conexant driver ,still shows the same message...
instead of that i got the realtek driver and installed it withought any problem is that ok? or it must be the conexant one?
about the wireless connection i installed th driver over and over again several times using the" run as administrator" but it still dont react when i turn him on and the troubleshoot says he is turned off>.> what can it be? -
have you tried the the hardware switch located in the bottom right of the notebook; you might have accidentally set it to the OFF position
the switch itself doesnt move a great distance between the ON n OFF position so it can be easily mistaken to be set on ON, for example, if you glanced at it. -
i tried the switch but when its on "on" mode it still says its not connected
my gamble is that is problem with the driver or with something i gotta do and didnt do after installing the driver but i dunr eally know what -
I've met this kind of problem before, I've figured it out, see if it help you out there.
First, I uninstall the wifi driver (in device manager), then, without reboot, I install the driver again. It worked with me, hope it'll work with you too

tnx for the info mate i tried but still the wireless wont work=/
things are as follow:
in device manager under network adapters there are 2 drivers listed:
1.intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN
2.Marvell Yukon 88E8071 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller
and i got here 3 different drivers i can install(down;loaded from gateway site)
1.Modem_Conexant(T60M955)_v7.80.4.55_Win7X86X64
2.LAN_Marvell_(8071 & 8070)_v11.10.5.3_Win7x86x64
and the 3rd is:WLAN_Intel(5100_5300_5150_5350)_12.4.1.11_Win7X86X64
which is the more problematic becuz under the 64 bit theres 2 exe files:
iProDifX - which says "now preforming intel(r) PRO/Wireless driver installer operations and after 5 sec just quits the window without anything happens
and dpinst64 file which can be run only under Admin mode and install "intel (NETw5v64)net driver and when finishes says its ready to use.
i deleted and installed again the drivers again like u said TnG but i think this 3rd driver is messed up>.< -
Try this and see if you are lucky FN+F2. Once i oversaw that basic fix and reinstalled the driver. If you have a regular habit of turning off ur multimedia led's using FN+F1 then you might have accidentally pressed FN+F2.
-
sorry to hear that, jenia
Since I am using windows 7, it can automatically install my driver, the WLAN driver I downloaded from gateway site is usless (for me), I can't install it at all, you should try look for a driver in intel site.
good luck ^^ -
wow im so ashamed of myself lol eventually Maverick was right lol somehow i turned it off with FN+F2 lol tnx alot hehe;d
and tnx alot for every1 else who helped. now it workssss =] -
We all at some point miss the basic fix.
