Hi All, i'm quite new here. Just a quick question about the build in network adapter on my 7805U.

This laptop has a build in Marvell Yukon PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet adapter.
Is there anyway i can buy a Intel Pro 1000 Gigabit adapter and replace the Marvell Yukong inside (or maybe as another additional adapter)? any help would be appreciate. many thanks. :D

I'm 99.9% sure that the Ethernet adapter is integrated into the motherboard of the system.

What makes you want to replace the adapter?

Isn't there a PCMCIA adapter or something else that might work?
