    Gateway P-7811 FX Doesn't Power up

    No lights on at all. When plugged in, no lights on. The AC adapter is fine, it lights up. No indication of any problem before this happened. Powered down at night, next morning, had the problem.

    I am thinking that its the DC power jack that needs to be replaced. What is the part I need? Cant find a 78 series one. Also, is it hard to replace myself? Any instructions on how to do this? Or anything else I can try to get this thing to work.
