    Gateway P-7811 FX Screen displays red screen and lines until you wiggle the battery.

    My P-7811FX screen displays a red screen and red lines on it but the redness goes away once you wiggle the battery... So what could be the problem because everything else runs perfectly but the only time it appears is if the battery was moved then it goes away when you move it again a certain way.
    If you know the problem please inform me.

    Is it behaving like this while running on:

    1. battery + charger?
    2. battery only?
    3. charger only?

    Might want to try these combos and see if it's behaving like this based on the battery or charger--kind of minimize the cause of the problem a little bit.
