Odd, the review says the 7811 has both bluetooth and a fingerprint reader, neither of which have been mentioned thus far.

The images in the review show a fingerprint reader at the base of the touchpad, but Wong's images do not. Someone's lying and I'd say the review since they could've lifted their images from old models while Wong shows pictures of his in the packaging.

Best Buy doesn't really offer laptops for people who are laptop savvy, plus if it gets hacked, that's more money for them, maybe laptop magazine got it from somewhere else.

The writer also lists the price as $1399. There's something very off about this review.

Very! It's prolly a mag tryna get ahead of things in a hurry and gain some rep for itself. Sadly, it's not fooling us.

Such a low, non-widescreen res on a 1920x1200 screen.... shameful. They shouldn't have run any of their benches on 1024x768.

I still want to know how he got the 7811 with a fingerprint reader and bluetooth... and for 1399. I'm about to call up gateway and pretend I work for a pc reviewer have them send me this thing.

well computer shopper posted a review which is on par with this one, pathetic.

saying fan goes off for no appearant reason (voodoo?) and that it preform sub par on dx10 (using one RTS to get to this deep insight).

Yeah seriously, why wouldn't they just keep it simple and offer the bluetooth and fingerprint reader, as obviously it doesn't make a big difference to them, and it's already designed that way.

Engadget also incorrectly describes the 7811 FX's CPU when it copy + pasted the info from our forums.

"In Crysis, we set the resolution to 1920 x 1200 and all of the texture settings to Very High, and averaged just 17 fps"
i just tested it on my 6860 and it goes to about 5 FPS at very high even at 1440*900...

"When we set the system to optimal, the game defaulted to High settings and a resolution of 1024 x 768; we averaged 21 frames per second, and gameplay was more fluid. "

and 24 here with the same setting dx10, there is definitely something wrong with this review.
