    I just brought a gateway P7815u, and i was wondering if i can uppgrade the CPU on this laptop and if so what CPU would you guys recommend.

    Core 2 Duo 2.0 P7350
    8GB DDR3
    1TB WD 7200RPM
    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

    Gateway P-7805u FX support Core 2 Extreme processor. Maybe yours not so different & can support one.

    The 78xx series should support you all the way up to the x9100. Not sure if by default they used 1066 memory though.
